The Tulsa Symphony Orchestra would
like to invite you to become a
member
of the exclusive Symphony Set.
Symphony Set is an organization for
students who want to broaden their
appreciation for classical music.
We would be pleased you have you
committed to participating in what
we know will be a great year.
Symphony Set has a long tradition in
Tulsa. It was established in 1943 as
an educational program sponsored by
the Philharmonic Alliance for high
school
juniors and seniors.
This year membership is open to
sophomores, juniors and seniors in
the
2008-2009 school year. Symphony Set
membership includes attendance
to two concerts, participation in
the net casts of the concerts you
plan to
attend, and two social events listed
below.

To participate in these events,
members of SYMPHONY SET must attend
at
least two of the following Tulsa
Symphony Orchestra Concerts at the
PAC
(Listed to the right) Discounted
tickets will also be available to
Symphony
Set members and their families to
Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa Opera and Tulsa
Oratorio Concerts for the 2008-2009
Season.
SYMPHONY SET membership is $200.00
PER STUDENT.
You may pay by check or credit card.
Deadline for membership is September
1, 2008.
After that date, a $50.00 late fee
will be required.

SYMPHONY SET RULES
• SYMPHONY SET membership is $200.00
• SYMPHONY SET members are required
to attend two
educational/volunteer opportunities
arranged by
SYMPHONY SET committee
• SYMPHONY SET members must be
either a high school sophomore,
junior or senior
• SYMPHONY SET Conduct:
•Absolutely no alcohol, illegal
drugs or tobacco use shall be
tolerated
at any SYMPHONY SET event
•At each SYMPHONY SET event, the
member and member’s parents/
guardian will be responsible for the
behavior of the member and his
or her date
•Each SYMPHONY SET parent/guardian
shall submit the name, address and
phone number of another adult who
may be contacted if the
parent/guardian cannot be reached
concerning behavior problems which
may result in the
removal of the SYMPHONY SET member
and/or date from a SYMPHONY
SET function
•Behavior problems shall be
determined by the SYMPHONY SET
chaperones at the event and shall be
acted upon as they see fit
